This cool site by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine uses the Salon story as a jumping off point to discuss parenting habits around sleep from country to country. It's super interesting! Like, did you know that in their study they found that kids' "bedtimes ranged from 7:27 p.m. in New Zealand to 10:17 p.m. in Hong Kong. Total sleep time ranged from 11.6 hours in Japan to 13.3 hours in New Zealand." Read the whole thing here.
